Two ways to obtain CDP® certification.

Option 1

Complete CDP® online application. Wait for approval. Complete the online ADDC 7-hour course (international customers only) within 30 days of your CDP® application approval. The course is CEU approved for 7 CEUs for Administrators, Nurses, Social Workers and Activity Professionals. For Nurses, there is an additional fee of $28.00 payable to the CEU Network after completing the online 7 hour course. Option 2

Register directly with the CADDCT trainer who posted the ADDC seminar on the calendar. Verify which country and time zone the course is presented in. Complete the ADDC seminar, first (international customers only). After the ADDC seminar, you have 30 days to complete the online CDP® application. You will select the Grandfather option which allows you to bypass the online 7- hour ADDC course. The ADDC course is CEU approved for 7 CEUs for Nurses for an additional fee of $28.00 payable directly to the CEU Network. CEUS are approved in the USA. You will need to check with your governing body to verify they will accept USA CEUS. The trainer is responsible should they choose to do so, to submit the course to other credentialing bodies for CEU approval. If you need CEUs, please check with your trainer regarding which credentialing bodies the trainer has submitted the course for CEU approval. The CADDCT trainers do not work for ICCDP and set their own rates. The CADDCT Trainer will not collect CDP® application fees. Seminar is taught in English or Spanish. Two ways to obtain CMDCP® Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional certification®.

Option 1

Complete the CMDCP® online application. Wait for approval and complete the MDCP Montessori Dementia Care Professional 7 -hour online course. Once your CMDCP application is approved, the course link is emailed to you and you will have 30 days to complete the online 7 hour course. Upon completing the course, an evaluation link is sent to you. Upon completing the online evaluation, your CMDCP certification is emailed to you. Renewal is every two years. You will need 4 Montessori Dementia Care courses and the courses are provided on the ICCDP web site at the time of renewal.

The 7 hour online MDCP course is CEU approved for 7 CEUs for Administrators, Nurses, Activity Professionals and Social Workers. ICCDP offers a corporate group (rate) for the CMDCP® application and the 7 hour online course.

Option 2

Register directly with a CMDCPT™ trainer who has a MDCP course posted on the calendar. After the MDCP course, you have 30 days to apply online for the CMDCP® Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional® certification and select grandfather option. Grandfather option allows you to bypass the online course. You have 30 days to apply online for the CMDCP® certification and selecting the grandfather option. Please check with your CMDCPT™ trainer to see if the course is CEU approved. It is up to the trainer to submit the course for CEU approval to credentialing bodies, if the trainer chooses to do so. The course is CEU approved for Nurses for 7 CEUs with the CEU Network. There is an additional fee of $28.00 payable to the CEU Network after completing the live presentation. Information will be provided to you by the trainer. The course is presented in English. The CMDCPT™ Trainers do not work for ICCDP and set their own rates. The CMDCPT™ trainer will not collect the CMDCP application fees. Be sure to verify which country and time zone the MDCP course is taught when registering. Register online for the CMDCPT™ trainer one day seminar. Presented on ZOOM. You will be asked to upload your CADDCT certification, resume, copy of license or certification, copy of college degree.

Once approved, your acknowledgement letter will include your license agreement, two homework assignments, which is a sample brochure and sample class certificate. You will be required to upload the signed license agreement and the two homework assignments prior to mailing your training materials. ICCDP materials ship from the USA.
